How does the MydeveloperIQ scoring work?

The MydeveloperIQ scoring works just like any other standard IQ test; it's marked out of 160. If you score 120 or above you are classified as a DevGuru.

Is the competition really free to enter?

Indeed it is! All you need to do is prove that you are a DevGuru by taking our test.

How many times am I allowed to enter?

You can have as many tries as you want.

Can I invite my friends to try as well?

Yes, please do.That way you can show off your high scores and prove you're better than a DevGuru.

How do I win?

Prove to us that your a DevGuru by completing our test and then enter our prize draw for your chance to win!

Is speed a major factor, how long do I have to complete the test?

The faster you complete the test the better chance you have of becoming a DevGuru.

Will the questions and answers be published?

Yes, once the competition closes and the winners are decided we will publish all questions and answers on MyDeveloperIQ.com

When is the prize draw?

The deadline for the entries is on the 31th July 2010 and the draw is on the 4th August 2010

What subject areas do the questions cover?

The questions cover a wide variety of programming technologies, from .NET to C++ to PhP and many many more. Only the best DevGurus around will stand a chance.

How many questions are there?

There are 10 questions to answer, and each one will test your skills as a developer.

Are there any other prizes to be won?

Along with the copy of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 the lucky prize draw winner shall also win a top of the range Coffee Machine.
